Bad Heroes(™) is an animated SERIES about a washed-up superhero dad named Austin Adams, who’s failed the hero registration test hundreds of times. Just when he’s about to give up, he and his chaotic family accidentally land a spot on a reality TV show for wannabe heroes all thanks to his shady childhood friend and self-proclaimed agent, Louie.

Bad Heroes(™) is a personal project I created as a way to explore themes of identity, legacy, and the messy beauty of family through a chaotic, comedic superhero lens. I grew up in a family of artists, and for a long time I wrestled with the question: Am I doing this because I love it, or because it’s all I’ve ever known?
That question became the heartbeat of Bad Heroes. It’s about a flawed father trying to live up to a legacy he didn’t ask for, while navigating life, family, and the absurd world of low-tier superhero fame. The show mixes grounded emotion with unhinged humor, because that’s what life and family usually feels like.
